Essential oils are often used to gain relief from physical discomfort caused by stress and strain. These oils provide natural ways through which you can keep your body healthy and balanced. Use up to six teaspoons of carrier oil for every 15 drops of essential oil to avoid skin irritation. Most carrier oils include olive oil, argan oil, coconut oil etc.
Similarly, you can use the oils for therapeutic massage. The oils not only penetrate deep below the skin to relieve pain, swelling and tension, but it will also help work out knots and quickly release tension. However, add 10-12 drops of essential oil to an ounce of carrier oil and apply to your body before bath. It will help to keep your stiff muscles soothe.
